Wine Country Race Club will host the Jurds Real Estate ANZAC Day Races on Monday 25 April at Cessnock Racecourse.
In a tribute to the courageous men and women who have served our nation, a ceremony will take place to acknowledge the roles horses and jockeys played in the war. Concluding the ceremony will be the National Anthem sung by multi-award winning country singer and songwriter Catherine Britt.
From 11:30am try your hand at Two-Up and enjoy catching up with mates and with plenty of giveaways from XXXX Gold to win throughout the day, it’s set to be a great day out.
Bring along a picnic and relax on the lawn or pick up something tasty from the course. A range of food will be available for purchase from $4.50 including fish n chips, sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls or grab a snag from the BBQ for $3.90 and a steak sandwich for $6.50. No beverages to be brought onto the course.
